Your Journey to Career Success Starts Here
Wondering how to launch your job search? Want career advice specific to your major? Looking for tips on how to ace an interview?
Passport to Hire is an event designed to help School of Journalism and Mass Communications students prepare for career success. Participants will get tips from our career services manager on things like developing your personal brand, interviewing, networking and more. Following the group session, students will break into major-specific panels with alumni who work in their fields of interest. This is a great opportunity to ask our alumni for advice on what you can be doing now to land your dream job in the future.
Time: March 21, 5 - 7 p.m.
New this year: One-on-One Career Direction Sessions
Do you want a professional in your field of interest to review your resume? Do you wish you could ask someone what it’s like to work in your future field?
Members of the School of Journalism and Mass Communications Professional Advisory Board will be on campus before Passport to Hire, and they want to help students like you prepare for the professional world. Sign up for an appointment when you register for Passport to Hire. Spaces are limited, so sign up today!
