United Way of Sumter, Clarendon and Lee County

United Way of Sumter, Clarendon and Lee Counties is looking for a student to produce an animated 2 minute campaign video to kick start our annual workplace campaign.  This would be a great opportunity for students to give back to the community, build their portfolio, and get their work out there.

Although, our office is located in Sumter, students would not be required to commute; everything can be done in the convenience of their homes.  United Way’s goal is to create long-lasting change by addressing the underlying causes of these problems.  "Living United" means being a part of the change; it takes everyone in the community working together to create a brighter future. View an example of a campaign video they like and would like to be done.

Duties:

  • Student will be responsible for creating a short (2-3 minute) animated video using technical software packages such as Adobe Flash.
  • Student must have own computer and own software to create animated video.
  • Student will work closely with staff to create storyline for character.
  • Will be responsible for putting characters together with special effects, soundtracks, and other layouts.
  • Work must be completed at a timely manner.
