Dean's Circle Society

The Dean’s Circle Society is comprised of alumni, community leaders and industry advocates who recognize the value and significance of the College of Information and Communications at the University of South Carolina. Through the Dean’s Circle Society, we recognize those who annually (July 1- June 30) make a gift of $1,000+, and young alumni who annually contribute $500+ to support the college.

Recognition

This society is one of the most loyal groups of supporters to the College of Information and Communications. Dean’s Circle Society members are recognized throughout the year with special invitations to private receptions with guest speakers. Our members have opportunities to serve as college ambassadors and receive regular communications from the dean and school directors.

Your Impact

We encourage our members to support the Dean’s Circle Fund, the college’s unrestricted fund for education support, but members are not limited to this designation. By supporting any fund within the college with a minimum gift of $1,000 annually, our alumni and friends are welcomed into this influential group of donors. Young alumni who have graduated within the past 10 years are welcomed at a special giving level of $500.

Members of the Dean’s Circle Society are an integral part of advancing the college and its schools. Students and faculty from both the School of Journalism and Mass Communications and School of Information Science benefit from our Dean’s Circle Society giving.
