Many students make the decision to come to the University of South Carolina once they tour our beautiful, tree-lined historic campus, meet our friendly people and see firsthand all the great facilities and amenities that come with being a Gamecock.
Just as the university does, the College of Education welcomes you through our front doors as a prospective student to come meet our outstanding faculty, tour our buildings and stroll the breathtaking grounds in which our students study, congregate and socialize.
Our administrative offices and education programs reside in Wardlaw College, a historic building surrounded by dogwoods, magnolias and azaleas that has been home to teacher instruction for multiple generations. Wardlaw is directly across the street from the Horseshoe and surrounded by downtown Columbia's coffee and tea shops and wide variety of restaurants and eateries.
Our physical education and athletic training programs are housed in the Blatt Physical Education Center, which features spacious, cutting-edge facilities and technology in a beautiful part of town. Located at the southern edge of our campus, the Blatt is a complete workout facility surrounded by rolling hills that encompass historic neighborhoods, practice fields and pre-measured and mapped outdoor running, walking and biking routes.
Our faculty and staff are here to welcome you to the College of Education and answer any questions you have about our programs or life within our school. Schedule a campus tour through the Visitor Center, and let them know that you are interested in becoming a student in the College of Education. We hope to see you at our doorstep soon.
