Paying for college is a challenge for everyone. Fortunately, resources exist for students from all walks of life.

Financial assistance

A variety of funding sources are available for students with intellectual or cognitive disabilities, including:

  • South Carolina Vocational Rehabilitation, which can provide qualifying residents with financial aid of up to $1,850 for tuition per semester.
  • Federal Pell Grant, Federal Work-Study and Federal Supplemental Educational Opportunity Grants, which can provide up to $5,500 per year. Call 803-777-8134, or email baileya3@mailbox.sc.edu for information.
