Educational Administration, Ed.S.

When you join the Educational Administration Ed.S. program, you are taking the first steps toward superintendent certification in South Carolina. Your studies will include creating a positive, inclusive culture within an entire school district, applying best practices to encourage student learning, and real field work in the district. Educational Administration, M.Ed.

The Educational Administration, M.Ed. program is the first step to principal certification in South Carolina. You will study areas like creating an environment where all students under your watch can succeed, and how to understand the issues that impact your school through the  social, political, and even cultural contexts that drive those issues. Educational Administration, Ph.D.

There are two areas of concentration in the Educational Administration Ph.D. program: PK-12 education administration, and higher education administration.  Each concentration prepares you for a different group of leadership positions- PK-12 administration consists of school superintendents and principals, administrators in school districts and government agencies, among others; the higher education administration concentration includes university administrators, college faculty, and other related leadership roles.
