CAREER Award

In the last three decades, 38 College of Engineering and Computing faculty have earned the prestigious CAREER award from the National Science Foundation.

The NSF’s Faculty Early Career Development (CAREER) program supports junior faculty who exemplify the role of teacher-scholars through outstanding research and excellent education.

Currently, 21 percent of our engineering and computing professors are CAREER award winners.

“The impressive number of CAREER awardees in this College reflects our commitment to excellence in both research and teaching. This is the combination that sets apart the experience of students attending flagship universities, “ said Dean Hossein Haj-Hariri.
