Middle School Day

The College of Engineering and Computing is now hosting an annual learning experience for middle school students. Sixth through eighth grade students will spend the morning engaging in various experiments and learning experiences with faculty and students, which cover various fields of engineering and computing.

Middle School Day

This outreach event is free of charge and open to any Middle School class of 20-25 students, preferrably science, math, or engineering classes. A teacher must complete the application available below. Teachers and/or chaperones must stay with the class while they are on campus. Space is limited, so please complete an application as soon as possible.

Middle School Day 2017 will be held on the morning of Thursday, October 19 from 9am-12pm.

Topics this year will range from Biomedical Engineering to Electrical Engineering to Computer Science. Teachers will have the opportunity to pick topic preferences after their application has been received.
