About Our Organization

AIChE fosters corporate interactions between professionals and our members by hosting representatives at monthly meetings and organizing externships. For example, members recently visited Savannah River Site and Savannah River National Laboratory in Aiken, SC. Our chapter is actively involved in the regional and national AIChE conferences, sending a combined 35 student representatives to the conferences last year. We are active in community outreach by participating in University of South Carolina's College of Engineering and Computing Open House in the fall and Engineering Week in the spring. We also anticipate adopting a road for the 2015-2016 academic year.
