Elizabeth graduated with a bachelor’s degree from Western Kentucky University in 2012, where she studied health sciences with a minor in social work. Her husband is a graduate of the South Carolina Honors College, and they loved his time there so much that they named their miniature schnauzer, Harper, after Harper College. Elizabeth earned her masters in higher education and student affairs from the University of South Carolina in 2018. Prior to her role as an academic advisor and the Accelerated Undergraduate to MD coordinator for the South Carolina Honors College, Elizabeth worked for four years with the Office of Fellowships and Scholar Programs and most recently as a first-year advisor in the College of Arts and Sciences. When she is not keeping her son, James, and pup Harper from getting into mischief, Elizabeth enjoys painting, reading and finding new shows on Netflix.
