“I am incredibly grateful for my scholarship. In the Top Scholar program, everyone I have met has supported and inspired me through their kindness, generosity, and determination. The Office of Fellowships and Scholar Programs (OFSP) has been an invaluable resource, going above and beyond a basic advisement role. Along with offering insight into fellowships that fit my interests, OFSP has helped me discover new ways to pursue my aspirations and get involved in the community. My scholarship has also allowed me to pursue amazing opportunities. Without the financial burden of tuition, I have been able to travel to Germany to study energy and sustainability and attend three chemical engineering conferences in my two years so far at the University of South Carolina. These experiences have been priceless, and I know there will be many more to come in my next two years as a Horseshoe Scholar.”
