The historic McCutchen House is open to the public for lunch during the University of South Carolina regular fall and spring semesters, 11:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m., Tuesday through Friday.
Lunch entrées are $12 + tax unless otherwise noted and include a beverage and cookies. Appetizers and additional beverages/desserts may be purchased separately.
McCutchen House is cashless. Please pay by credit, debit, check, Carolina Cash, IIT or direct billing.
Spring 2024 Lunch Menu (March 12 – April 19)
Appetizer ($1.25)
- Our famous tomato pie
Choice of Soup ($4/pint) or Salad ($2)
- McCutchen House Salad: Mixed greens, tomato, sliced cucumber, thinly sliced red onion, shredded smoked Gouda cheese, and toasted slivered almonds. Choice of our scratch-made house, ranch, blue cheese, and balsamic dressings.
- Soup of the Day: Prepared daily. Ask your server for the day's selection.
Entrées ($12)
- Turkey Croissant: Sliced turkey breast, smoky bacon, creamy brie, and fresh spinach on a buttery croissant. Served with house-made white bean salad.
- Greek Chicken: Marinated chicken leg quarter roasted with lemon and fresh herbs. Served with Greek potatoes and vegetable of the day.
- Salmon Dijonnaise: Freshly cut salmon baked with Dijon-maple glaze. Served with mushroom risotto and vegetable of the day.
- Blackened Pork Chop: Sugar brined and blackened thick-cut chops topped with an apple-raisin chutney and served with roasted red potatoes and vegetable of the day.
- Vegetarian Stir-fry: Tofu and fresh vegetables stir-fried to order in a garlic sesame sauce served over jasmine rice.
