There are several ways that you can work with the center and support our research. Through true collaboration, we work with clients, partners and center fellows to promote and support the retail industry.

Become a Client

As a retailer, challenges to your bottom line can stem from external factors such as competitors or the economy, or they can result from business decisions that are easier to manage such as internal process inefficiencies, ineffective marketing strategies or employee turnover. These issues plague large and small businesses alike.

We have extensive knowledge and industry experience that enables us to effectively identify the source of your challenges. And, as educators, we also understand the importance of communicating and interpreting our results in a way that you can apply the data effectively and become actively engaged in the implementation process.

Become a Partner

Corporate partners are businesses and corporations that make annual charitable gifts to the Center for Retailing. Special opportunities for partners include:

  • Special projects performed on an in-kind basis by institute personnel
  • Customized presentations
  • Customized press releases and editing services
  • Request and receive up-to-date, relevant data on retailing — locally, nationally, and globally

Become a Fellow

The center occasionally invites people to become a Fellow of the Center. This honor belongs to individuals with internationally recognized experience and expertise in retailing and consumer behavior. The center benefits greatly from their knowledge and wisdom acting as a center fellow. The fellows, with the center, helps conduct outstanding research among organizations, universities and individuals.

If selected, you will receive a certificate from the university and center proclaiming your title as center fellows. Working with the center in this capacity, you are an esteemed partner, and in turn the center shares its expertise and information with your department and university. Ultimately, it is the center's goal to create a network of partnerships among fellows for the mutual benefit of the departments, universities and the field of retailing.
