Duties of Intern:
GAMECOCK PRODUCTIONS INTERNSHIP PROGRAM Gamecock Productions is looking for a highly motivated and creative individuals to intern with us. Participants in the internship program will have the opportunity to experience one of the most unique learning and working environments in college sports while assisting in all aspects of sports production; broadcast and web projects. This internship is renewable each year for college students, academic credit is available and or some positions are paid. This hands-on internship will involve all levels of production and projects will vary day-to-day. Camera knowledge and editing skills are a plus, but we are willing to train qualified individuals. The award-winning staff is willing to assist and mentor those individuals with a serious desire to further their studies and achieve their career goals. Incorporated into the internship program are seminars that cover topics such as networking, freelance work, and Q & A sessions with executives , industry leaders, and former interns. Responsibilities: • Provide timely, accurate and complete delivery of multimedia elements to various platforms • Shoot and stream live sporting events • Create and edit game highlights and player profiles • Edit athletic marketing videos • Assist in development of coach shows • Assist in creation of Gamecock Confidential • Perform crew functions as needed during productions • Ingest, archive and log footage of events; organize and create melt reels

Skills Required for Internship:
Ingest, archive and log footage of events; organize and create melt reels Basic Qualifications: • Currently enrolled college student in good academic standing • General knowledge of sports, including current Gamecock athletics • Excellent communication, listening and organizational skills • Ability to react quickly and positively under a wide variety of production situations • Ability to keep up in a fast-paced environment and work irregular hours • Demonstrated leadership experience within a professional role, organization or activity Preferred Qualifications: • Experience in sports media; knowledge in sports is a plus • Familiarity with process and procedures of a television production department • Familiarity with server-based media and or non-linear editing equipment • Familiarity with camera, audio and or lighting equipment • Flexible schedule (available to work 30 hours a week) If interested, please email Marissa Kenney, Assistant Director at Gamecock Productions, at In the subject heading please write: Internship Inquiry and attach your cover letter and resume in either a word document or PDF file only.
