Fall Spring

Duties of Intern:
OVERVIEW The SC Campaign to Prevent Teen Pregnancy seeks an intern to assist the Director of Communications with graphic design. This internship will give the intern valuable real-world experience in print and web design. The intern will work at least 20 hours per week. Those hours may be worked in any combination at the discretion of the intern and the supervisor. The intern is considered an integral part of the Communications Department and as such, their ideas and input will be valued. PRIMARY PROJECTS: • Assist the Director of Communications in producing fact sheets, brochures and other printed materials. • Work with printers to secure bids for projects and follow through with order until delivered. • Assist in designing ads for various publications. • Weekly updates to the SC Campaign’s corporate website, • Assist in brainstorming concepts for upcoming projects. • Other duties as assigned.

Skills Required for Internship:
The intern must be organized, and detail-oriented, possess strong typography and layout skills, and be a graphic design major. Proficiency in InDesign, Illustrator and Photoshop is required.
