The ABC’s of Raising a Reader: Planting the Seeds for a Lifelong Love of Literature

Discover the importance of reading for infants, toddlers, and preschoolers. Caregivers will develop tips and techniques to apply exciting ways to help children enhance their skills. Valuable handouts will be included. This is a workshop guaranteed to be full and informational.
Day care and preschool teachers will receive three hours of continuing education credit from the SC Child Care Training System.
Location: South Carolina Center for Children’s Books and Literacy, 1430 Senate Street, Columbia, SC. You may park in any of the spaces at the rear of the building. Please enter through the side door opening onto Bull Street.
