Background

Carrie C. Queenan is a clinical professor of management science at the Darla Moore School of Business, University of South Carolina. Prior to returning to academia, Queenan was a process engineer with Shell Chemical and an operations strategy analyst with Siemens.

Queenan teaches both operations and supply chain and data analytics classes across the undergraduate, MBA, and Executive Education programs.  Combining theory and practice, through the Operations and Supply Chain Center, Queenan mentors teams of students as they solve front line operations and supply chain problems for companies such as adidas, Coke Consolidated, Nephron Pharmaceuticals and UPS. 

Queenan has published in journals such as Production and Operations Management, and Journal of Operations Management and has won multiple awards for teaching and research.
