Office of Career Management

The Office of Career Management (OCM)  is dedicated to the success of our students. Our professional staff is trained and equipped to guide students through the internship and job search process.

Through our BADM 301, Careers in the Global Economy Course, we provide an 8-week "how to" course that teaches each participant the nuts and bolts of job search while developing individual marketing materials for use in the student's search, including a professional resume. Students also develop interviewing skills and learn the strategy of networking and personal branding.  This course is required for all undergraduate students.

In addition to the BADM 301 a team of professional career coaches are available to all sophomores, juniors and seniors during on-call hours or via individual appointment. To learn more please drop by the OCM during business hours or call 803-777-0149. 

All graduate students have access to a career coach via individual appointments and are given the opportunity to attend a series of Job Search/Professional Development workshops provided by our team of professional career coaches, alumni and employer representatives.
