The Community Music School piano division faculty are passionate Carolina undergraduate and graduate students studying piano pedagogy or students with prior teaching experience.
Students participate in a master class, scheduled during the spring semester, and a recital held at the end of each semester. Students have the pleasure of performing in the acoustically pristine USC School of Music Recital Hall on a Steinway grand piano.
NEW: summer lessons!
We now offer 12-week, 8-week and flexible 6-week summer session options for private lessons. Register early as sessions may fill quickly. Priority registration deadline is May 5, 2014.
The 6-week option is designed for those who would like to spread lessons out over the summer or want to get a sampling of lessons to determine if they would like to continue studying in the future. You may also wish to begin lessons later in the summer.
Students may select half-hour, 45-minute or one-hour lessons. All lessons are offered at the USC School of Music building and lesson times are arranged on an individual basis. When your registration application and fees have been received, your teacher will contact you to arrange a lesson time.
