Ten-Day Discovery Program

June 5 – 15, 2013

Directed by Dr. Manuel Alvarez, the Discovery program is designed for conductors with limited conducting experience who want to improve their conducting skills. Each week, participants work with a string quartet in afternoon conducting sessions. Participants are required to attend morning Conductors Institute sessions and the late afternoon lecture series. This program is limited to 10 participants, and a limited number of auditors are accepted.

Campus Housing

You may select to take advantage of our campus housing – a single occupancy, air conditioned, suite-style room in a campus residence hall located just a short walk from all Conductors Institute sessions. If you select campus housing, no refunds are permitted after April 30, 2012, [flag for update] due to contractual agreements. Participants who do not want to stay in campus housing are responsible for securing their own accommodations.

Cost

An application fee is not required. Meals are not included.
Conductor  $950 (add $395 for a single occupancy room for the session)
Auditors $600 (add $395 for a single occupancy room for the session)
