Tenure-Track, Assistant or Associate Professor

The University of South Carolina College of Nursing is seeking a mid-career tenure-track faculty member with advanced expertise in one of our three research cores: health systems, vulnerable populations, health promotion/risk reduction. A doctoral degree in nursing or related field is required. Candidates are expected to have an established record of successful participation on externally funded research grants, scientific collaboration with junior and senior research faculty, and PhD-level student teaching and mentorship. 

Director, Center for Nursing Leadership

The Director for the Center for Nursing Leadership oversees the four major activities of the Center to include: 1) state-wide action coalition/One Voice One Plan; 2) Amy V. Cockcroft Leadership program; 3) SC Office of Healthcare Workforce Research for Nursing; 4) Continuing Education Provider.

SC SmartState Endowed Chair 

The University of South Carolina College of Nursing is seeking an outstanding leader for the position of South Carolina SmartState Endowed Chair in Clinical Effectiveness at rank of Professor. The Endowed Chair will lead/expand development of clinical effectiveness and healthcare systems research at the University. The Endowed Chair position is part of an integrated state-wide SmartStateTM Center for Clinical Effectiveness and Patient Safety (www.smartstatesc.org).

Clinical Assistant or Clinical Associate Professor for Acute Care Advanced Practice/DNP Program

The College of Nursing, University of South Carolina, is seeking a qualified candidate eligible for the rank of Clinical Assistant or Clinical Associate Professor to fill a full-time faculty position. In addition to teaching, clinical practice and research/scholarship activities are expected. Faculty appointment and salary are commensurate with the level of advanced practice clinical practice, teaching, leadership, and scholarship experience of the candidate.

Clinical Assistant or Clinical Associate Professor for Medical Surgical Nursing

The College of Nursing, University of South Carolina, is seeking a qualified candidate eligible for the rank of Clinical Assistant or Clinical Associate Professor to fill a full-time faculty position to teach in the undergraduate nursing program, including direct supervision of undergraduate nursing students in the clinical area, with medical surgical area of nursing expertise. Opportunities for teaching and mentoring in the MSN/DNP Graduate Programare commensurate with expertise and credentials.
