Associate Dean for Faculty Affairs

The Associate Dean for Faculty Affairs is a new position in the College of Nursing. We are seeking an accomplished, collaborative and innovative leader for our growing and thriving academic environment. The Associate Dean for Faculty Affairs will focus on faculty development and career enhancement, faculty workload, faculty scholarship, and special projects to enhance the organizational culture and productivity for our esteemed faculty.

Tenure-Track, Assistant/ Associate Professor

 The University of South Carolina College of Nursing is seeking early and mid-career tenure-track faculty member with expertise in one of our three research cores: vulnerable populations, health promotion/risk reduction, cancer survivorship. A doctoral degree in nursing or related field is required. Candidates are expected to have externally funded research grants, high potential for federal funding and PhD-level student teaching and mentorship.

Endowed Research Chair

 The University of South Carolina is seeking an outstanding leader for the position of South Carolina SmartState Endowed Research Chair in Clinical Research at rank of Professor. The Endowed Chair will lead/expand development of clinical research and patient outcomes at the University.  The Endowed Chair position is part of an integrated state-wide SmartStateTM Center for Clinical Effectiveness and Patient Safety (www.smartstatesc.org) and will be housed in the College of Nursing.

The University of South Carolina College of Nursing is seeking a mid-career tenure track faculty member with advanced expertise in one of our three core areas: health systems, vulnerable populations, health promotion/risk reduction. The College of Nursing has the Center for Cancer Survivorship and a solid research support infrastructure supported by the Associate Dean for Research. 

Research Assistant Professor

The University of South Carolina College of Nursing is seeking a Research Assistant Professor.  This candidate is expected to function as an advanced post-doctoral fellow in that s/he builds their publication record and submits grant applications (national funding). 

Clinical Assistant/Associate Professor Organizational Leadership

The University of South Carolina College of Nursing is seeking a qualified candidate to fill a full-time, 11-month faculty position. Individual will serve as faculty in organizational leadership/nursing administration and nursing informatics concentrations.  

Clinical Instructor Psych Mental Health NP or Clinical Nurse Specialist

The University of South Carolina College of Nursing is seeking a qualified candidate to fill a full-time faculty position - 9 or 11 months. In addition to teaching, clinical practice and research/scholarship activities are expected. Faculty appointment and salary are commensurate with the level of advanced practice clinical practice, teaching, leadership, and scholarship experience of the candidate. 

Clinical Assistant/Associate Professor Advanced Practice/DNP Program
