Research and Teaching Interests
My statistical methodological research includes problems that arise in biomedical studies with longitudinal biomarkers, where subjects are followed for a possibly random interval of time. This type of data exhibits methodological challenges such as missing data, longitudinal biomarkers being measured with error, and an informative length of observation. The topics of my research include joint modeling, classification, grouped survival, risk prediction, and informative dropout.
