Epidemiology brown bag seminar series on April 30

Join the department of epidemiology and biostatistics for a brown bag seminar by epidemiology assistant professor Matthew Lohman on “Hospitalizations, Medications, and Depression Among Older Adults Receiving Home Health Care."  The lecture will take place on Monday, April 30, 2018 from 1-2p.m. in Room 331 of Discovery 1 (915 Greene Street; Columbia, SC 29208). 

Speaker Bio

Dr. Matthew Lohman is an assistant professor in the department of epidemiology and biostatistics and faculty affiliate of the Office for the Study of Aging. His research focuses on the influence of mental health and mental health disorders on general health outcomes among older adults in long-term care settings or receiving long-term health care services at home. His other research interests include pyschiatric epidemiology, determinants of cognitive decline and dementia, frailty measurement, and fall prevention.
