Management and Management Science at South Carolina

The Darla Moore School of Business offers two unique management-related degrees. The management program focuses on organizations — their design, function and management behavior in organizations and how they are changed. Management science, on the other hand, explores the analytical use of information in business management.

What to Expect

Students in the Darla Moore School of Business who wish to major in management may choose from a concentration in the human resources area or a concentration in entrepreneurship. The program is designed to help students develop competencies and skills relevant across a broad range of organizational roles, as well as roles specifically involving human resources or entrepreneurship.

Management science students can specialize in business information systems, business information management, or Global Supply Chain and Operations Management, while walking away with a prestigious Lean Six Sigma certification.
