From the College of Nursing's inception, its goal has been to lead the state in educating advanced practice nurses, nurse leaders and nurse researchers.
The college is one of the largest in the Southeast, and, with the leadership of strong administrators and a dynamic faculty, students are prepared to meet the increasing demands of contemporary health care, including those of South Carolina's older adults.
The College of Nursing offers students an array of resources to complement their educational training, including state-of-the art technology, an Information Resource Center, and a Client Simulated Laboratory that has eight examining rooms, including one specialized for geriatric clients. The college is also home to the Center for Nursing Leadership, designed to develop and advance dynamic nurse leaders in all areas of practice.
The College of Nursing is continually developing new research, curriculum, and outreach efforts to address the needs of South Carolinians. >> More
