How can I participate in ETS?
Students may contact the guidance office at a participating middle or high school or they may contact the ETS office at (803) 777-5127.

What are the eligibility requirements?
ETS promotes college access among students from low-income families. 2/3 of our participants must be low-income with *neither parent receiving a four-year college degree.

(*exception for students with divorced parents)

Is there a cost to participate?
No. Our services are available at no cost to students in our program. ETS is a federally funded TRIO program sponsored by the University of South Carolina.

What is the goal of the Educational Talent Search Program?
The goal of the ETS program is to encourage middle-and high-school students to enroll and succeed in post-secondary education.

Is this an after school program?
No. Meetings with the counselor occur at the student’s school during school hours.
