Welcome to TRIO Programs at the University of South Carolina. We are proud of our programs, the success of our students, and the support and encouragement we receive from our university family and Richland County community. Since 1966, USC TRIO Programs have fostered the collaboration of university, school, and community interests to promote educational opportunities in the Columbia area. These partnerships have led to the successful completion of college and university degrees by thousands of deserving youths and adults who otherwise might not have pursued a college education. Our university mission is the education of our state's diverse population through teaching, research, creative activity, and service. The TRIO Programs help to fulfill this mission by providing our least advantaged citizens with information and assistance that can make educational dreams possible.
