The letter “C” indicates that the courses are offered through independent learning. The numbers are the same as those used in the general University of South Carolina bulletin. Be sure that you read and understand all policies and procedures before applying for a course.

(Prereq: MATH 111 or 115 or STAT 110, or consent of instructor) An introductory
course in the fundamentals of modern statistical methods. Topics include descriptive
statistics, probability, random sampling, tests of hypothesis, estimation, simple
linear regression, and correlation.
