Courses offered through distance education are available at the undergraduate and graduate level. Many live courses may be viewed at USC campuses and at other sites in the state by satellite or two-way videoconferencing; other courses are available on the Web or on DVD, videotape, or audio CD for study at home. Some courses require attendance at sessions on the USC Columbia campus; often these sessions are on Saturdays.

Before enrolling in courses, you must be formally admitted to the University of South Carolina. Undergraduates can begin the application process by completing an online admissions application at the Admissions Homepage.
