Support the United Way

Thank you for your past support of the University of South Carolina's United Way of
the Midlands campaign. Today begins this year’s window for faculty, staff and administrators
to make their contributions. Please join Patricia and me in donating to this meaningful
cause.
As Gamecocks, we proudly support the communitywide efforts of our United Way of the
Midlands and the 90 local agencies they support. Our donations help to deliver meals
for more than 1,000 seniors, mentor and tutor at-risk youth, provide food and shelter
for families in crisis, and health care for those in need. Our donations help improve
the quality of life for our neighbors and our community.
If every full-time employee on the Columbia campus would donate just $2 per paycheck,
we could surpass the university’s goal of contributing $120,000. Talk with the United
Way ambassador in your department to join us. The deadline for joining this effort
is April 18.
As Gamecocks, our generosity has no limits.
