UofSC, IBM, Fluor celebrate groundbreaking of new Center for Applied Innovation

Join university President Harris Pastides, representatives from IBM, Fluor Corp. and Holder Properties, as well as dignitaries from across the state, for a special groundbreaking of the new Center for Applied Innovation at 10 a.m. Thursday, Feb. 26. The Center, which will include IBM and Fluor as inaugural tenants, will provide application services to both public and private sector organizations across North America with specialties in data analytics and curriculum technology for higher education.

The groundbreaking event will take will take place at Blossom and Assembly streets. Media parking will be provided in the construction lot located off the alley between the Horizon building at Blossom and Main and the parking garage at Main and Wheat streets. The alley is accessible off Main Street.
