Counseling center open to help

Students, faculty and staff who wish to speak individually with a mental health provider can stop in the Thomson Student Health Center 28 p.m. Sunday and the counseling center 8 a.m.–4 p.m. MondayFriday.  To make an appointment or request additional services, contact the counseling center at 803-777-5223.

The counseling center's services are always available to students and are included in the health fee. Faculty and staff can take advantage of counseling services through Friday, Feb. 13. After that date, employees are encouraged to contact the university's Employee Assistance Program provider.

Keep Calm and Pet a Puppy also will be held 10 a.m.–12 p.m. Tuesday, Feb. 10 on Davis Field. The event, which helps participants reduce their stress, is open to all.
