Carolinian Creed and Diversity Week kicks off Monday, March 23 on Greene St. from 11 a.m.-2 p.m.

Students, faculty and staff are invited to participate in the many opportunities available this week to learn more about the Carolinian Creed and how to implement it in daily life.

Here's just a few of the events happening around campus:

  • March 25, 9-11:30 a.m. in Russell House 203
    Suicide Prevention Training:

Suicide is the second leading cause of death among 18-24 year olds. Warning signs of a suicidal person are often observed by peers, faculty, staff, and family members. Learn the tools you need to help.

  • March 25, 12-1 p.m. in Maxcy Hall
    International Lunch and Learn

Join us for a catered lunch as international students from Hong Kong share their experiences with the Umbrella Revolution. Discuss with us the state of democracy and the complex relationship that exists between Hong Kong and China.

  • March 27, 11:30 a.m.-1 p.m. in Russell House Ballroom
    CREEDx

Join us for CREEDx – where Tedx and the Carolinian Creed combine! Come hear short inspirational speeches. Lunch provided by Pasta Fresca. RSVP by March 23rd.
