New Bike Shop open for business

The Bike Shop, provided by Outdoor Recreation, is now open for all students, faculty and staff.
Located in the Blatt PE Center, the shop offers many services, including flat tire repair, bike rentals, cleaning, tune-ups and assembly of new bikes. All services are free with your Carolina Card.
The shop also offers bike clinics. The first Tuesday of every month, the Bike Maintenance Clinic will be held from 6 to 8 p.m., and every third Tuesday of the month, the Commuter Clinic will be held from 6 to 8 p.m. Both will be located at the Bike Shop.
There are three types of bikes that can be rented from the shop: the Trek 6000 WSD, the Specialized Rockhopper and the Breezer Uptown Fleet LS, according to their webpage.
UofSC is a Bicycle Friendly University at the bronze level, according to the League of American Bicyclists.
The Bike Shop is open Monday through Friday from noon to 6 p.m. and can be contacted by calling 803-777-1449.
