A number of efforts will affect staff parking areas during the last two weeks of 2017 and the first three days of January, 2018. Also, shuttle service will be limited during the winter break for the Columbia campus.
First, due to parking needs for commencement, the parking lot FS10 will be closed to faculty and staff on Mon., Dec. 18.
Also, parking lot E6 will be closed for maintenance at the end of business on Fri., Dec. 15 thru Sun., Dec. 17. Spots on the south end of Lot D7 will be barricaded off on Dec. 18-19 for construction work near Wheat St.
Those affected may park in other staff or general lots in the area during the days mentioned.
Spots in the USC Visitor’s Center lot will be closed during the winter break through Wed., Jan. 3 to accommodate work at the Osborne Administration Building. Some visitors’ parking will remain during this time while campus is mostly closed, but metered parking will also be available in the Pendleton St. Garage, across the street from this lot.
Shuttle service for the Columbia campus will be limited during the break as well. The Express and North Loop routes will run from 7:30 a.m. to 6 p.m., while the Green route will run from 8-4 Mon.-Wed., Dec. 18-20. These same routes and schedules will run from Jan. 2-Jan. 12. Full shuttle service will begin again on Tues., Jan. 16, the first day of classes for the spring semester.
