Extra recycling bins now available

Extra temporary recycling bins will be set up in dining halls and residence hall lobbies to capture empty water bottles this week. The University of South Carolina will continue to service those extra bins until drinkable city water is restored.
UofSC will rely on existing recycling infrastructure in most buildings to increase collections as much as possible.
To request temporary recycling bins to handle the extra volume of water bottles, call (803) 777-9675, email fmcnotify@fmc.sc.edu, or visit www.facilities.sc.edu.
For off campus students, UofSC encourages students to use recycling programs in place in their buildings. If no recycling options are available, there is a recycling drop off location at 720 College Street.
