VIDEO: Darla Moore School of Business has a new home

The Darla Moore School of Business has a worldwide reputation for the quality of its academic programs. Now it has the facilities to match with the opening of UofSC's most ambitious project to date.
The $106.5 million dollar building features 35 flexible, state-of-the-art classrooms, a visitor's center and a trading room with stock market ticker boards. A 500-seat auditorium will be used jointly with the School of Music, as both a lecture space and a recital hall.
The building is on track to become the largest LEED Platinum building in South Carolina.

$106.5 million cost
251,891 gross square feet
3,900 tons of structural and reinforcing steel
240,000 square feet of metal decking
30,000 shop and field bolts used to affix beams and girders
17,000 cubic yards of concrete
