Columbia lawyer named to Board of Visitors



Columbia attorney O. Wayne Corley has been named the newest member of the University of South Carolina’s Board of Visitors.

Corley is a founding member of the McNair Law Firm and specializes in public finance law. A 1968 graduate of the School of Law, Corely has served in leadership roles for numerous civic and business organizations, including the University of South Carolina Law School Partnership, the Bank of America of the Carolinas Advisory Board, the Midlands Business Leadership Group and the South Carolina State Museum Foundation Board of Directors.

The Board of Visitors assists the Board of Trustees and President Harris Pastides on issues related to the promotion of the university. The board works to enhance the image of the university by encouraging alumni participation, advocacy and inviting broad public support for Carolina’s mission.
