ABOUT THE EDITORS

Bin-Jaw Lin is director of the Institute of International Relations at the National Chengchi University in Taipei, Taiwan. Formerly he served as the dean of the Graduate School of Diplomacy at the National Chengchi University.

James T. Myers is professor of Government and International Studies at the University of South Carolina. A board member of the American Association for Chinese Studies, he is author of Enemies Without Guns: The Catholic Church in the People's Republic of China and coeditor of Chinese Politics: Documents and Analysis, Volumes 1 and 2.
