| Bruce Dunlap, a chemistry professor at USC since 1971, has been named dean of the College of Arts and Sciences at Florida International University, effective Aug. 1.
While at USC Dunlap published more than 150 refereed journal articles and garnered nearly $5 million in sponsored research funding. Dunlap was chair of the Department of Chemistry and Biochemistry for six years and most recently has been associate director for administration of USC’s NanoCenter. He also was advisor or co-advisor for 44 graduate students who earned Ph.D.s at USC.
