| USC's football game against LSU will be televised nationally with a kick off time set for 7:45 p.m. at Williams Brice Stadium Oct. 18.
The game will be shown coast to coast by either ESPN or ESPN2. This will mark the third straight national television appearance by the Gamecocks and the fourth time in the past five games that USC has been showcased on national television. Games against Georgia (CBS), Tennessee (ESPN), and Kentucky (ESPN) were also broadcast nationally.
South Carolina is 4-2 for the year and 1-2 in the SEC. LSU, which was upset 19-7 by Florida in Baton Rouge Oct. 11 is 3-1 overall and 2-1 in the conference. The LSU Tigers were ranked No. 6 in both polls prior to the Oct. 11 game.
