Theatre South Carolina to serve up 'Feast on Five' Dec. 2–6

Theater enthusiasts will have the rare opportunity to feast on five evenings of free, one-act plays presented by Theatre South Carolina Dec. 2–6.

The performances will be held in the Booker T. Washington black-box space, which is entered from Wheat Street, between Pickens and Sumter streets.

Three plays, each featuring the talents of undergraduate or graduate theatre students, are planned.

The schedule is:

  • Show A, 7 p.m. Dec. 2 and 4
    That Midnight Rodeo, by Mary Sue Price, directed by Steven Fenley
    Mozart and the Gray Steward, by Thornton Wilder, directed by Brian Schilb
    Perfect, by Mary Gallagher, directed by Fabio Pires
    Misreadings, by Neena Beber, directed by Mary Floyd
    Electric Roses, by David Howard, directed by Kay Allmand
    Time Flies, by David Ives, directed by Patrick Mullins
  • Show B, 7 p.m. Dec. 3 and 5
    Head On, by Elizabeth Dewberry, directed by Pamela Vogel
    Naomi in the Living Room, by Christopher Durang, directed by Zach Hanks
    Danny and the Deep Blue Sea, by John Patrick Shanley, directed by Stephen Davis
  • Show C, 8 p.m. Dec. 6
    Danny and the Deep Blue Sea, by John Patrick Shanley, directed by Stephen Davis.
