| Bruce C. Coull, dean of USCs School of the Environment, has been elected president of the Council of Environmental Deans and Directors.
Coull, whose one-year team begins in February 2005, becomes the third president of the organization of environmental leaders from colleges and universities throughout the United States.
The council, created by the National Council for Science and Environment and academic officials, examines environmental science programs. Deans, directors, and chairs of environmental science programs at more than 120 colleges and universities are represented.
