| Campus Wellness and the Student Health Center Lab are offering a cholesterol screening for any USC faculty or staff member July 12–15.
This cholesterol screening is a lipid profile only and will include the following values: total cholesterol, triglycerides, HDL, LDL, and VLDL.
Cost for the screening is $22 and is not reimbursable by insurance. Participants do not have to be a member of the State Health Plan.Because there are a limited number of openings, the screenings will be made by appointment only. Appointment times are July 12–15 at 8:45 a.m., 9 a.m., 9:15 .a.m, 9:30 a.m., and 9:45 a.m. The blood draws will take place at the Thomson Student Health Center.
For accurate results, participants must fast (nothing but water) for 12 hours before the scheduled appointment time.
Participants will pay at the Student Health Center business windows and then will be directed to the lab.
Lab results will be collected by Campus Wellness staff. Participants will be notified via e-mail or phone with information about when and where they can pick up their screening results.
