McCutchen House on the Horseshoe has reopened for lunch with a completely new buffet menu. Lunch hours are from 11:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. Tuesday through Friday for the remainder of the fall semester.
The all-you-care-to-eat buffet offers a different menu of hot dishes daily, plus soup, salad bar, specialty salads, bread, and a carving station. The cost is $10, which includes the buffet, beverage (ice tea, water, lemonade, or coffee), and tax.
McCutchen House is operated by students of the University’s College of Hospitality, Retail, and Sport Management. Lunch service will continue through Dec. 3. The restaurant will be closed on University holidays.
McCutchen’s summer outdoor lunch service on the patio ended at the start of the fall semester, but guests are still welcome to take their buffet food outside to eat. Reservations are recommended for lunch, particularly for groups, by calling 7-4450.
