Women in Higher Education to hold annual conference Jan. 28–29

South Carolina Women in Higher Education will hold its annual conference on the USC campus Jan. 28–29.

The theme of this year's conference is "Leadership: Competence, Confidence, Connections."

Pre-conference facilitator is Gladys Brown, former director of the American Association of University Women (AAUW). Keynote speaker is Virginia Caples, provist and vice president for academic affairs, A&M University, Huntsville, Alabama.

Concurrent workshops also will be a part of the conference, as well as the Martha Kime-Piper Awards Luncheon. Information on undergraduate and graduate grant opportunies also will be available.

Cost to attend the conference is $125.
