Chicago's legendary comedy theatre group Second City will perform at 7 p.m. Feb. 1 in the Etherredge Center at USC Aiken. The performance will feature some of the best sketches, songs, and improvisations from Second City's 45-year history.

Founded in Chicago in 1959, Second City has become the premier training ground for some of the comedy world's best and brightest performers. Their alumni list includes Mike Nichols, Elaine May, Alan Arkin, Joan Rivers, Robert Klein, Peter Boyle, Harold Ramis, John Belushi, Dan Aykroyd, Bill Murray, Gilda Radner, George Wendt, Martin Short, John Candy, Shelley Long, Chris Farley, and Mike Myers.
