The Division will be organized into three departments under the continued direction of Bill Hogue, vice president for information technology and chief information officer.

The departments are:

• Computer Services will be known officially as University Technology Services (UTS). Lorie Edwards will be deputy CIO for IT operations.
  
• Distance Education and Instructional Support will be known as University Instructional Services (UIS). Susan Bridwell will be deputy CIO for instructional services.
  
• Rafael Alvarado will assume leadership as academic program director for a new group named Faculty E-Learning Support. This group merges resources from Academic Services and Instructional Development previously in CS and DEIS.
