Corey Andrews is Roy Fellow in Scottish literature at library

Corey Andrews is this year’s W. Ormiston Roy Memorial Visiting Research Fellow in Scottish Literature at USC’s Thomas Cooper Library.

Andrews is the author of Literary Nationalism in 18th-Century Scottish Club Poetry (2004), as well as articles in The Eighteenth Century: Theory and Interpretation, Eighteenth-Century Scotland, Lumen, and other journals.
He will be researching Robert Burns in the library’s G. Ross Roy Collection of Robert Burns, Burnsiana, and Scottish Poetry. He earned his Ph.D. at Ohio University, and after four years teaching at Northwest Missouri State University, will move in August to Youngstown State University in Ohio.

Andrews, his wife Elaine, and son Lucas, will be in Columbia through July 21 and can be contacted through Rare Books and Special Collections at Thomas Cooper Library, 7-1275.
