McMaster Gallery in the Department of Art will feature the following exhibits during the 200506 academic year:
- impressions: an invitational exhibition of prints, Aug. 25Sept.30, with an opening reception from 5 to 7 p.m. Aug. 25. The exhibit will feature works by Jennifer Yorke, Alabama; Ruth Welsberg, California; Kabuya Bowens, Janice Hartwell, and Bradlees Shanks, Florida; Carmon Colangelo, Melissa Harshman, Joe E. Sanders, and Art Werger, Georgia; Rudy Pozzatti and Kathryn Reeves, Indiana; Dellas Henke and Bill Hosterman, Michigan; Paul Schumann, Minnesota; Karen Kunc, Nebraska; Beth Grabowski from North Carolina; Barbara Duvall from South Carolina; Melissa Gill, Washington; and Sergio Soave, West Virginia.
- Hunter & Robbins, Oct. 11Nov. 18,with an opening reception from 5 to 7 p.m. Oct. 11. The exhibit will introduce the work of Dawn Hunter (paintings) and Kathleen Robbins (photography) to the Columbia community. Hunter and Robbins recently completed their first year as assistant professors in the USC Department of Art.
- MFA Creative Terminal Exhibitions, Nov. 28Dec. 19. Weeklong exhibitions will include works by Julie Jacobsen (painting), Brian Kane (sculpture), and Denton Smith (photography). Individual dates will be announced.
- USC Alumni Exhibition, Jan. 12Feb. 10, 2006, with an opening reception from 5 to 7 p.m. Jan. 12. The exhibit will include works by USC art department graduates William Dooley, Alabama; Jean Gallagher Somers, California; Kristi Higby and Brian Hively, Florida; Gary Keown, Louisiana; Tom MacPherson and Michael Tice, New York; Tarleton Blackwell, North Carolina; Mark Flowers, Pennsylvania; Clay Burnette, Larry Lebby, Linda McCune, Jane Nodine, and Tom Stanley, South Carolina; and Aggie Zed, Virginia.
- 50th-annual USC Student Art Exhibition, Feb. 1623, 2006, with an opening reception from 5 to 7p.m. Feb. 16. The show is the art departments annual juried student exhibition and competition.
- "To Reproduce or not to Reproduce," works by Kathy King, March 230, 2006, with an opening reception from 5 to 7p.m. March 2. The exhibit will be a mixed media installation of mosaic, wood, and fibre by studio artist and Georgia State University assistant professor Kathy King.
- MFA Creative Terminal Exhibitions, April 5May 5, 2006. The exhibitions will feature works by Te Koehler (sculpture) and Josh Vincent (photography). Individual dates will be announced.
